Learning Disabilities

Learning disabilities are more than a difference or difficulty with learning – they are neurological disorders that affect the brain’s ability to receive, process, store, and respond to information. Learning disabilities can have a huge impact on a child’s development and education. There are many different types of learning disabilities, including language, reading, and math. These can also affect a child’s social and emotional health. When a child is affected by a learning disability, there are resources and accommodations to help improve that child’s level of success.
