Assessments

The Psychological Assessment Clinic provides assessment services to the communities surrounding the University.

For Students:

If you suspect that you may have the following:

• Problems with attention and concentration
• Problems learning
• Emotional difficulties

We offer comprehensive assessments tailored for your individual needs.

Based on the results of testing, we can send your report to Student Disabilities Services on campus so that you may receive academic accommodations. We can also make recommendations for treatment to other professionals.

For Parents:

If you suspect that your child may have the following:

• Problems with attention and concentration
• Problems learning
• Behavioral problems
• An intellectual or developmental disability
• Emotional difficulties

We offer comprehensive assessments that include direct testing with your child, combined with teacher and parent reports of the child’s behavior and psychological functioning.

Based on the results of the assessment, we can recommend academic accommodations that can be implemented as part of an IEP or 504 plan as offered by your child’s school.

For Professional:

• Suspected Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
• Suspected learning disabilities
• Suspected intellectual developmental disabilities
• Psychological diagnostic clarification
• Cognitive functioning following trauma or injury
